This is a beautiful handmade dress from the 1960s. No tag, so I cannot say what the fabric content is. Would likely fit a 2T-3T toddler, but please reference the measurements below before purchasing. I have embroidered the front with an original whimsical design, featuring a butterfly watering her “pocket-full o posies” by pouring golden droplets from her dainty china teapot. A special, one-of-a-kind, heirloom piece. Shown here with my son’s button-down shirt as a style idea, which will not be included in shipment. Would look lovely over a striped top, a lacy blouse, a turtleneck... I do think it should have some kind of under-later, as I have not backed the embroidery and the threads have the potential to irritate the skin.
Measurements, lying flat (bear in mind this is unstretched; this dress is quite stretchy!):
Armpit to armpit - 12.25”
Length- 18.5”
Armhole top to bottom - 4.5”
My nest is smoke and pet free. To care for a hand-embroidered work of wearable art, I suggest dry cleaning or hand washing. 🕊
